Multi-purpose endless round sling for lifting

Round Slings are the most versatile lifting slings. These are constructed of high-tenacity polyester fibers (PES) which are protected by a durable sleeve made of single-ply polyester tubing.

The Round Slings provide superior flexibility and can be configured to irregular loads. These polyester slings have a very low weight-to-strength ratio in comparison to the traditional chain and wire options.

Round sling usage safety tips.

1. Inspection:

• Before each use, visually inspect the round sling for any signs of damage, wear, cuts, or abrasions.
• Check stitching, especially near attachment points, for any signs of fraying or damage.

2. Load Identification:

• Identify the weight of the load and ensure it does not exceed the working load limit (WLL) specified by the manufacturer.

3. Attachment Points:

• Use suitable attachment points that are capable of supporting the load.
• Avoid sharp edges that could damage the sling. Use protective sleeves or wear pads if necessary.

4. Proper Positioning:

• Ensure that the round sling is properly positioned around the load to achieve even weight distribution.

5. Lifting Angles:

• Consider the lifting angle when attaching the sling. The WLL may vary based on the angle of use.

6. Avoid Twisting or Knotting:

• Do not twist, knot, or tie the sling during use, as this can reduce its strength.
• Maintain a straight line of pull to prevent unnecessary stress on the fibers.

7. Load Control:

• Lift the load smoothly to avoid sudden movements that could cause shock loading.

8. Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor the load during lifting and movement to ensure stability.

9. Storage:

• When not in use, store the round sling in a clean, dry area away from direct sunlight, chemicals, and sharp objects.

10. Environmental Considerations: – Be aware of the environmental conditions, such as temperature and chemicals, as these can affect the integrity of the sling material.
